Activities begin at 6 p.m. and include rock painting, temporary face tattoos, yard games, sidewalk chalk and a jungle/dinosaur themed water slide. The Harrison Fire Department also will be on hand to provide some water fun and help everyone beat the heat.
We are also hosting a book drive to benefit Circle of Life and the Boone County Literacy Council. Bring your new or gently used books to the summer movie event and receive a ticket for a chance to win one of our awesome door prizes. While children's books are preferred, all books are welcome.
Food will be available for purchase from Pappy's Burgers, Ark-Tic Freeze and F.A.T. Rolls.
Popcorn will not be free this year, but Pop Queens Kettle Corn will be at the event selling their delicious popcorn.
The movie begins at sunset, around 8:30 p.m.
